Hey, I'm Tamir.
Most of my work is in business development across the space industry - helping companies find customers, build partnerships, and connect with investors.
I started at a startup focused on satellite data and analytics, and since then have worked with other space companies across business development, operations, and marketing. I also write about the industry on X and LinkedIn, where my content has reached millions of people.
That work has given me a close view of Israel's space ecosystem - its companies, technologies, people, and opportunities.
I'm a lawyer by training, but space has become the industry I know best.
I kept looking for a live, interactive map of Israel's space ecosystem. There wasn't one. So I built it. Now there is.

Israel has the
Talent, Technology, Ambition
It's up to us to Connect the Dots.
It started in the defense industry.
Israel entered space out of strategic necessity: sovereign satellites, independent launch capability, and systems built to detect threats before they arrived. Engineered with precision. No permission asked.
Then the ecosystem evolved.
A generation inspired by Ilan Ramon and Beresheet began building space companies not just for governments, but for global markets. Venture capital followed. Startups emerged across Earth observation, connectivity, in-space infrastructure, and data.
The defense DNA never disappeared. It became an advantage.
GetSAT joined Thales. Effective Space joined Astroscale. Orbit became part of Kratos. Tomorrow.io crossed a billion-dollar valuation. These were not isolated events. They were signals of a broader ecosystem taking shape.
SpaceMap.Tech is an attempt to document that ecosystem: 101 companies, investors, labs, and institutions shaping Israel's space industry today.
Still evolving.
Already significant.
